Birthday Girl

My sweet Mirand is turned 12 today. I can't believe how fast time is going and how fast she is growing up. She is turning into such a sweet young lady and I'm so proud of her. She stands up for what she believes in and is a strong person. She is also a peace maker and often will give up her own things, whether time or possesions to make others happy. She is a great sister and even a better daughter. I know Heavenly Father is proud of her too and loves who she is becoming. Happy Birthday our little Sunshine Tigger.

Draper Temple

I need to be a better blogger. But I did want to post about going to the Draper Temple openhouse. It was such a fun experience with the kids. We met in a chapel at a nearby church where they showed us a short video with a broad explanation of what the Temple is about and how special they are. I really felt the Prophet's testimony and my spirit grew. I have blogged earlier about my dear Aunt Paula and how special she is to me. She is now on the other side with my beloved brother Jesus and our Heavenly Father. I felt her near me yesturday and know that she is o.k. Her Mom (my grandma) was also very close to me and I was so excited to feel them be with us. I am so blessed to be in this gospel and to be able to have these wonderful experiences that help me get through day to day trials. I know I am not alone and that there are many guardian angels watching out for me and helping me find my way back home. We stood together as a family in one of the sealing rooms where there are mirrors positioned so that we could see ourselves going on forever and ever. It was a beautiful sight and to know that we can be together eternally is priceless. I am very grateful for yesturday!!!

This is a couple days late, but I want to wish my little sis a very Happy Birthday. My mom and I took her out last night for a girls night out. We went to Ruby River for dinner (yummo) and then to Bridewars. It was such a cute movie and Tanya thought it was funny when I cried.

I remember when we were teens, mom would take us to the mall and we would end up in Halmark laughing at the funny cards. We would get giggling at the stupidest things.

Tanya - Happy Birthday -- you truely are the best sister anyone could ever have!! I truely mean that. . . . you are such a blessing to me and I love you very much!!!
